Renowned for its natural charm, this course features expertly crafted greens and bunkers. Designed by Dan Soutar and built by Mick Morcom, it opened in 1925 at 6,800 yards and a par of 82, making it one of Australia's longest and most challenging courses.
Dr. Alister Mackenzie later enhanced the layout, devising the bunkering scheme and designing the iconic 15th hole. The course has hosted prestigious tournaments, including the Women’s Australian Open (2008), Australian Masters (2009 & 2012), and the World Cup of Golf (2016). It is set to host the Presidents Cup in 2028 and is currently ranked No. 2 in Australia and No. 17 in the world.
