Victoria Golf Club

Victoria

Founded in 1903 by Mr. Bill Meader, Victoria Golf Club originally started at Fishermans Bend in Port Melbourne. Mr. Meader's contributions are honored with his original chair displayed in the foyer. The Club relocated to its current site in 1927, with a new course designed by Oscar Damman and Bill Meader, assisted by renowned architect Dr. Alister Mackenzie. Located in Melbourne’s Sandbelt region in Cheltenham, the beautifully landscaped course measures 6,278 meters (6,905 yards) and offers a challenging experience for both amateur and professional golfers. Known for its lightning-fast greens and exceptional bunkering, Victoria Golf Club is currently ranked No. 8 in Australia and No. 93 in the world.
